Golden Resin is a sensory-driven project developed for Maison Ysaline, an independent fragrance house known for its poetic and elemental approach to scent. The brief was to translate the warm, resinous complexity of amber into a visual narrative one that feels both ancient and modern, grounded and ethereal. Through art direction, photography, and design, we shaped a world where amber isnt just an ingredient, but a presence: luminous, tactile, and quietly powerful.

Through art direction, photography, and design, we shaped a world where amber isnt just an ingredient, but a presence: luminous, tactile, and quietly powerful.

The Visual Scent

Amber is a note rich in contrast — simultaneously soft and intense, earthy and golden. To echo this, we used a palette of deep ochres, translucent textures, and glistening surfaces. Photographs played with natural light and organic forms, evoking the way amber traps time, light, and memory. The visual identity mirrors the olfactory experience: layered, hypnotic, and warm.

Light as Legacy

Inspired by the way amber preserves what it touches, we explored the relationship between light and permanence. Each scene was art-directed to capture glowing stillness — from the golden hour reflections to the subtle diffusion of scent through air and material. The outcome is a series of visuals that feel suspended in time, evoking both memory and mystique. It's not just branding; it's atmosphere made visible.

Packaging That Speaks in Silence

Our collaboration with Maison Ysaline went beyond visuals — we crafted a full brand story, from naming to scent cards, with a deep focus on customer experience. Every detail was considered to invite users into a ritual: the lighting of a candle, the first spray of perfume, the weight of the bottle. Golden Resin became not just a product, but a story — intimate and unforgettable.
